Watermark listing photos without uploading them

Listing photos get saved, reposted and reused. A small, consistent mark keeps the brokerage or photographer attached to the image without hiding the property. Process a whole shoot in one pass and keep clean originals for the client.

How to do it

  1. 1Export the listing set at the size your MLS accepts, usually around 2000 px on the long edge
  2. 2Drop the photos in, add the brokerage name or a transparent logo, and choose a bottom corner
  3. 3Set the mark to roughly 4–8% of the short side and check one bright exterior and one dark interior
  4. 4Download the ZIP, upload marked copies to social and previews, and deliver clean files to the client

Questions

Does my MLS allow watermarks?
Rules vary by MLS. Some restrict branding or contact details on listing photos, so check your MLS rules before adding a mark. When in doubt, keep it small and avoid phone numbers or calls to action.
Will a watermark hurt the listing?
A small corner mark generally does not. A full-frame tile over the property can hide features and look unprofessional; use tiling only for proofs or unreleased previews.
Can I use a different logo for each property?
One mark per batch. Run a separate batch for each brokerage or photographer if the branding changes.
Are client photos uploaded?
No. The files are decoded, marked and zipped inside the browser tab.
